New PR and Content Marketing Course for Visitor Attractions
As a multi-award-winning tourism PR specialist, Catapult PR, is thrilled to launch its first-ever PR and content marketing course for heritage visitors attractions and other types of visitor attraction wanting to benefit from its huge successes in travel PR and marketing.
As a PR agency, we count travel PR as one of our distinct specialisms and we believe tourism PR really is our bag, having represented so very many visitor attractions over the past 27 years. Our travel PR credentials booklet gives some indication of this.
On this basis, we have created a course targeted at the visitor attraction that wants to improve its in-house marketing outputs and generate more visitor footfall in the 2025 tourism season.
Heritage Visitor Attraction and Other Visitor Attraction PR & Content Marketing Course
Our course – ‘PR & Content Inspiration for Your Visitor Attraction in 2025’ – is specifically aimed at employees of visitor attractions and heritage visitor attractions, such as historic houses, stately homes and gardens, museums and heritage steam railways and steam cruise companies.
Taking place on February 27, 2025, the course will provide such in-house marketers with the means to leverage perhaps the most important marketing tactic of all in 2025 – PR.
By learning the importance of PR as a builder of SEO benefit, but also the cornerstone of marketing material for use on other channels, course attendees will discover how to get more benefit from their visitor attraction’s marketing budget.
The aim will be to arm visitor attraction marketing personnel with the means to increase their footfall in 2025 and also create more online exposure – on their website, in search engine rankings and through social media. It will also focus on some other tools and tactics that could be used and will also provide attendees with a free content planning asset.
Who will deliver the course and how?
The new visitor attraction marketing course is going to be delivered online by Zoom and will be led by our managing director, Jane Hunt, a two-time winner of the national CIPR Excellence Award for ‘Outstanding Independent Practitioner.’
Jane has so far won a staggering 67 top awards at Catapult PR, including national travel marketing awards. In total, 37 of those awards (to date) have been for campaigns in the travel sector and 10 have been won, since 2020, for a stately home and garden.
The news of the course follows hot on the heels of our new visitor attraction leaflet, which details the ways in which visitor attractions can benefit from having Catapult PR’s full-time expertise on their campaign. A video on our YouTube channel also has Jane taking people through the new leaflet, to explain more.
Who is the visitor attraction marketing course for?
Those who do not want this level of support, but who would find it valuable to gain insight from a travel PR agency specialist with a proven track-record of results-oriented campaigns, will find the new course ideal. The only proviso is that they must be employees of a visitor attraction in the UK.
Even better news is that there is an early bird discount for those booking their place before February 14, 2025, with £80 to be saved off the full course fee of £530 (inc VAT). The course runs from 9.30am to 4.30pm.

Sharing travel and tourism PR agency expertise
Jane Hunt, says, “This is truly exciting, as we have never shared our expertise in this way before and it will be great to be able to inspire others, as we approach our 27th birthday as a PR agency. I have learned so much along the way, attended so many course myself and earned a reputation that I hope will enable me to really deliver food for thought and marketing benefit. This course will leverage many years’ experience of working with visitor attractions here in the UK.
“I recognised that our PR and content agency location, in Lancashire and on the Fylde Coast near Blackpool, is not ideal, location-wise, for many visitor attractions, so I have decided to offer the course over Zoom. That avoids people incurring travel expenses, keeping costs down for them and allowing Catapult PR to deliver a more sustainable way of offering training inspiration within the travel sector.”
